靈感來自於英勇無畏且驍武好戰的喜劇圈，《傑夫羅斯之吐槽大車拼》是譏諷喜劇（分組階層）淘汰賽，四個晚上的主要賽事由專業喜劇演員一對一較勁，再由明星嘉賓評斷勝負。
由羅斯與喜劇演員身兼裁判的布萊恩摩西兩人領軍，擔任客座裁判的明星嘉賓則有約翰梅爾、史努比狗狗、莎拉席佛曼、傑森蘇德基、鄭肯、派頓奧斯瓦特、惠特妮卡明、安東尼傑斯尼克和T.J.米勒。
Roastmaster General Jeff Ross goes on tour for season 2 of Roast Battle, hosting battles in different cities across America. With special guest judges John Mayer, Snoop Dogg, Whitney Cummings just to name a few, contestants go on stage to outwit and viciously insult their opponents, in their bid to win the honorable title of Roast champion.
Inspired by the gritty, competitive grounds of the comedy-club circuit, Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle is a bracket-style, insult-comedy tournament. The competition’s four-night main event pits professional comedians in one-on-one standoffs against each other, with a panel of celebrity judges deciding their competitive fates.
Led by Ross and referee/comedian Brian Moses, the esteemed panels of star-studded judges include John Mayer, Snoop Dogg, Sarah Silverman, Jason Sudeikis, Ken Jeong, Patton Oswalt, Whitney Cummings, Anthony Jeselnik and T.J Miller.
