Spiritual masseuse Claudia (Rebecca Immanuel – “Edel&Starck”) has done more than just pick out a hat for her son’s wedding; she has planned the entire event! This small yet romantic affair is set to take place in the grounds of Claudia’s idyllic Italian cottage.
But the father of the bride has other ideas, and from the moment arrogant cosmetic surgeon Herb (Christoph M. Ohrt – “Edel&Starck”) arrives with his own vision of a decadent and lavishly expensive wedding, these two very different personalities are at war.
Eventually Claudia and Herb agree to put their differences aside for the sake of the young fiancés – and even begin to fall for each other. But when Herb’s much younger girlfriend unexpectedly arrives, the fragile peace is broken once more. Unless these two battling families can join together, there may not be a wedding at all!
Synopsis
Claudia's son Oliver wants to marry his girlfriend Jade, the celebration should take place on a small scale with Claudia in the picturesque South Tyrol. When Herb, the bride's father, gets wind of it, he absolutely wants to organize a pompous party for Jade - and the competition with Claudia has begun. The argumentative parents come closer than expected. This does not leave the newlyweds untouched either, and suddenly the whole celebration is on the brink…
As in the lawyer series "Edel&Starck", Rebecca Immanuel and Christoph M. Ohrtskillfully play the comedy balls. As ambitious parents, they never miss a corner move to realize their idea of a perfect wedding for their children.
